This website is operated by CodeBay Labs LLC, a company of Bay CyberTech Holdings LLC. This policy describes the basic information practices for the public CodeBay Labs website. Individual CodeBay products may have separate privacy policies that govern their own services.

Information you provide

If you contact us, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, and message.

Website data

Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs, and security events necessary to deliver and protect the site.

Product websites

SkillOnDemand and TREVLER are separate products and may collect different information. Please review the privacy notice presented by the applicable product before using it.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information through this website. We may use service providers that help us host, secure, operate, and maintain the site, and may disclose information when required by law.

Mobile numbers and SMS information

When you enroll in or use a CodeBay Labs or CodeBay product text-messaging program, we may collect your mobile number, name or account identifier, the date, time, source, and method of consent, the program and message categories you selected, message content and delivery status, opt-out and help requests, carrier and device information, and related support records.

How we use SMS information

We use mobile and messaging information to provide the program you requested; send account, security, verification, support, application, onboarding, scheduling, operational, service, payment, or transaction communications; send marketing messages only when separately authorized; respond to requests; maintain opt-in and opt-out records; prevent fraud and abuse; troubleshoot delivery; comply with carrier, messaging-platform, and legal requirements; and protect our users, products, and services.

SMS consent and your choices

We send recurring messages only after obtaining the consent required for the identified sender, program, and message type. Transactional or informational consent is not treated as consent for marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to the applicable message thread. Reply HELP for assistance. We may retain a record of your consent and opt-out request to honor your preferences and demonstrate compliance.

No sale or marketing sharing of mobile information

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers and telecommunications partners solely as needed to operate the messaging program, including messaging platforms such as Twilio, mobile carriers, carrier aggregators, hosting and security providers, and customer-support vendors. Those providers may use the information only to perform services for us or as required by law.

Other permitted disclosures

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, carrier requirements, or governmental requests; enforce agreements; investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or prohibited activity; protect rights, safety, and property; or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. Any successor remains subject to applicable privacy and messaging-consent obligations. These disclosures do not permit another party to use your SMS consent for its own marketing.

Retention and security

We retain mobile numbers, consent evidence, messaging records, and suppression or opt-out records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the program, honor your choices, resolve disputes, meet legal and carrier requirements, and protect our services. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure. SMS is not an encrypted channel, so do not send highly sensitive information by text.

Children

Our business messaging programs are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect mobile opt-in consent from children under 13. Product-specific eligibility requirements may impose a higher minimum age.

Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or other treatment of personal information.
